In an effort to strive for an “environmentally friendly” Europe, the EU has voted to limit the use of thin plastic bags in shops across the union. In several EU nations, plastic bags are provided in stores free-of-charge – but all that is about to change – Blendover looks into the new rules set down by the Parliament.
